Have you got the January blues? I hope not as it’s only really the first week back after the new year! If it’s that bad already then I’d suggest some sort of career change maybe? And if it is that bad you will hate me haha, I’m that annoying guy and I’ve been itching to get back to work. This week I have a couple of shoots, with new clients, to start the year in a positive manner!

It was a busy end of last year but I was determined to try and squeeze in a test, just for fun, during the festive period. I got in touch with, awesome model and dancer, Shobi, Gaby Hunt MUA and Francesca Celeste Hair and we managed to get a day in the diary that worked for us all. It was one of those shoots where we all had been so busy that we just ‘winged it’. No plan as such and we just tried ideas as they came to us. I wouldn’t always recommend this but I knew that I had a great model and a great creative team so I was confident that we would get some cool images. We ended up shooting a lot of different styles on the day, different hair looks and makeup looks as well as experimenting with backgrounds. I’m sure I’ll be sharing them on my social media at some point so be sure to keep an eye out for them.

For this blog, as I have a busy week of shoots, I thought I would just share some images from, what turned out to be my favourite set from the day and there were a lot of cool shots to choose from. I’ve included a little bit of technical information for anyone that might be interested underneath the images.
